The Macintosh's case was designed not to be opened by the customer but by qualified dealers only. For this reason Apple offered a specialized tool to remove the deeply lowered screws and to seperate the two halfs of the case. Its one end is a Torx T15 screwdriver and the other one a kind of case cracker.
